"I pulled The Break Up, which I know is an emotional ride for so many viewers and so many Gleeks out there…The Break Up is one of my favorite episodes, not because of the actual break ups. Clearly. Because, again, it was emotional for everybody and even me who had not been with the show very long, I was just, I was very moved by it. But, getting to know the cast so quickly, The Break Up for me showed such incredible, intense, sincere performances, that I was so proud of the…cast…The Scientist, Don’t Speak, some great numbers and great performances by the cast I thought. Lea Michele was phenomenal in the Break Up. Chris and Darren were amazing. Naya and Heather just tore my heart out filming Mine, as well as The Scientist."
